OUR PROACTIVE APPROACH TO CAMP SAFETY
The safety of our camp community has always been central to the Fort Wonder Summer Camps experience, and we are committed to safely operating the 2021 camp season for our families!
Leading up to and throughout the camp season, we will continue to work closely with the Fort Worth Country Day Medical Advisory Team (a team of medical professionals from the DFW community established to ensure the safety of individuals participating in activities at FWCD) to improve the safety of our camp experience, and we will establish and adjust our plan to meet recommended guidelines and requirements from local government, including Tarrant County Public Health, and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention according to the health environment that we will be facing this summer.
Understanding that so much can change between now and this summer in our current environment, we will be communicating specific details on our Health and Wellness Safety Plans for the 2021 camp season this spring via this webpage and directly via email to enrolled families. Accordingly, we have extended the deadline for families to cancel their camp enrollments without any financial penalty this year, allowing you to make such adjustments through May 15. As always, if Fort Wonder cancels a camp for any reason, a full refund will be provided to each enrollee.
Our aim with this change in policy is for you to have a worry-free enrollment experience and to give you the opportunity to make an informed decision about your camper's enrollment in our programs once we all have a better picture of where our community will be this summer as it relates to COVID-19.
So please stay tuned, and we will have an informed safety plan detailed for you in the coming weeks! In the meantime, if you have any questions about any details related to Fort Wonder Summer Camps, please don't hesitate to contact us at 817.302.3271.
