Social Media Administrator
Fort Wonder is seeking qualified applicants to join our 2026 team! If you are a hard-working and collaborative team member who is passionate about working with children (Pre-K-5th grade) in an energetic summer camp environment and creating dynamic social media content, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Create visual images for social media posts (and upload all images to school platform) and family emails.

Facilitate communication with camp families through daily emails and social media posts.
-
Coordinate and gather various visual content for Fort Wonder social media accounts.
-
Provide support to Day Camp and Specialty Camp staff as directed.
-
Assist with execution of daily drop-off and pick-up procedures.
-
Preparation and distribution of camp supplies.
-
Commitment to full summer schedule required as follows:
-
May 26-29: 8 a.m. - 4 p.m. camp training, with 30 minute lunch break daily
-
June 1-July 17: 7:45 a.m. - 4 p.m. Specialty Camps, Monday through Friday, with 30-minute lunch break daily. (NO camps June 19 or the week of June 29 - July 3.)

July 20 - July 31: 7:45 a.m. - noon OR 11:45 a.m. - 4 p.m. Specialty Camp shift, M-F

Pay Range: $15+ per hour
Minimum qualifications:

High School graduate

Demonstrated experience working with digital media

Candidates 18 and over must pass a criminal background check

Positive verification of references

Physical demands:

Must be able to push, pull, carry, and lift up to 50 pounds

Will spend significant portions of the day walking or standing

Subject to outside environmental conditions in the Texas summer

Camp Administrators
Fort Wonder is seeking qualified applicants to join our 2026 team! If you are a hard-working and collaborative team member who is passionate about working with children (Pre-K-5th grade) in an energetic summer camp environment and creating a summer full of memories for our campers (and yourself), we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Assist the Fort Wonder Site Director in delivering exceptional summer camp experiences for campers, families, and camp staff

Provide support to Day Camps and Specialty Camps staff. This includes substituting for counselors as needed in the classroom.

Communicate professionally and effectively with supervisors and peers as issues arise
-
Assist with the oversight of camper lunch periods
-
Lead camp operations, including preparation and distribution of camp supplies

Commitment to summer schedule as follows:
-
May 26-29: 8 a.m. - 4 p.m. camp training, with 30 minute lunch break daily

June 1-July 17: 7:45 a.m. - 4 p.m. Specialty Camps, Monday through Friday, with 30-minute lunch break daily. (NO camps June 19 or the week of June 29 - July 3.)

Responsible for the daily management of a single group of campers in a specific age group. Counselors must be willing and flexible to work with all age groups (Pre-K-5th).

Provide campers with physical safety and emotional support to create a positive camp experience.

Lead campers through their daily activities.
-
Communicate professionally and effectively with supervisors and peers as issues arise.

Commitment to full summer schedule required as follows:
