FORT WONDER
Fort Wonder Summer Camps combine the best of all worlds in the summer camp world. Our Signature Camps are weeklong, full-day camps filled with old-fashioned, fantastic fun. From arts and crafts to sports and whole-camp rallies, each day is filled to the brim with learning and, most importantly, joyful memory-making! Specialty Camps are our weeklong, half-day experiences, perfect for campers with particular passions. Campers enjoy subject-specific content and fun; combining two half-day specialty camps creates a full day of memory-making while learning and growing within specialty topics. Our offerings are vast, so there is truly something for every camper!
OUR PURPOSE
What sets Fort Wonder apart from other summer camps is our intentional emphasis on creating unique, exciting weeklong experiences for children that foster relationships and build character. Our summer staff is handpicked for their ability to build positive, healthy relationships with children, their willingness to create lasting summer memories, and their commitment to helping campers grow and develop with character. Counselors are trained to be highly knowledgeable about how children learn best at each age, how summer silliness builds the best childhood memories, and how to build character in each child. Through our Fort Wonder core values, we teach, reinforce and reward the traits that help children develop into their best selves. Campers earn the Wonder Wand, Wonder Bands, and Fort Wonder Bottle Badges for displays of our core values. Counselors and administrators talk about these values with campers each and every day to reinforce the behaviors they observe, as well as to set intentions for desired behaviors.
